Join me in my kitchen for a culinary adventure as I share my secrets to sumptuous feasts from Africa and beyond that, you can easily recreate at home. My supper clubs are popular for the vibrant feasts I serve and inspiration behind each recipe.

At my cookery class, you will be inspired to use spices, seasonal vegetables, and fruits to elevate your meals and turn your gatherings into glorious feasts.

After cooking, you will sit to enjoy your meal. Any home-made spice mix will be elegantly packed to take home along with recipe sheets.

Limited spaces are available for each evening with a maximum of 6 people to ensure a bespoke lesson. The address will be revealed via email once booking is confirmed. Write to me or book below and send me a request with your preferred date and requirements to lerato@leratolovesfood.com

Private, Corporate Events & Gifts

My cookery classes and events are a special treat and can make for the perfect presents. You can book a single cookery class for yourself, as a gift for friends, family or for a group of up to six. For corporate events, a larger venue can be arranged. Write to me stating your requirements and a voucher will be provided for your gift purchase.

A Vegetarian Moroccan Feast At Home (Cookery Class and Supper)

Master the use of spices to create sumptuous vegetarian feasts. Available dates: 30th September; 12pm – 3pm, or request your preferred date

Do you love fish but you are not sure how to cook it?! Will you like inspiration for fish and seafood recipes to treat yourself and to wow guests? Join me for an afternoon of seafood indulgence as I share delightful and healthy recipes for cooking fish.

We will begin with welcome drinks. You will learn to cook;

Poisson en ‘papillote’ – Healthy and flavourful steam baked fish parcels with salmon or a local catch of the day from (Southern Head Fishing Co) infusing Thai flavours of ginger, garlic, lemon grass, chilli & pak choi;

One-pot Coconut Quinoa with Turmeric Heritage Carrots, Green Beans & Prawns
A healthy one pot wonder and a crowd pleaser, with coconut cream and seasonal greens.

Afterwards, you will enjoy your feast with a specially selected wine to match.

A Moroccan Feast At Home 

A welcome glass of Moroccan Orange & Mint Prosecco on arrival

Our cookery session will start with an introduction to Moroccan spices and we will create traditional Ras-el-hanout spice mix and harissa paste.

Spice Roasted Aubergines & Shallots with Ras-el-hanout

You will learn how to transform aubergines into a wonderful roast with your our own home-made spice mix.

Lamb & Apricot Tagine

Sweet Potato & Apricot Tagine (v)

A sumptuous tagine using harissa paste and seasonal fruits.

Saffron Cous Cous

Master a recipe for a flavourful couscous using exquisite ingredients.

A sweet treat of Stuffed Dates with Almonds & Pistachios

Moroccan Mint Tea to end your sumptuous supper

Master a recipe for a flavourful celebration worthy couscous with saffron.

Moroccan Mint Tea and Almond & Pistachio stuffed dates to end your sumptuous supper

If you cannot make this date, please send a request for your preferred date.

Recipe sheets & spices will be packed for you to take home. Advise on vegan requirements. Please note that nuts are regularly used in my kitchen and will be clearly stated if used in menu.

 

Terms and Conditions

Classes must be prepaid in full in order to secure a booking. Classes are non-refundable but can be transferred at least 14 days before the booked event date. If a class or event is canceled by me, you will be offered a full refund or credit towards future classes or events.
