I create a wonderful marriage of cuisines, inspired by my African upbringing, with global influences as seen in my food column in the Guardian Nigeria, and recipes contributed to the BBC. The menu is full of indulgence and a celebration of African provenance and also lovely local British produce, cooked with wondrous spices. In true African spirit, we feast on sharing plates at the center of the table. The menu always changes with the season. I will share the final menu a few days before our event.Vegetarians and vegans are most welcome as this is a feast for all. Spring Suya with Chicory, Mixed Peppers & Kale
Suya is a wonderful spice mix originating from the Hausa people of West Africa. My homemade mix is full of aromatics and wonderful African spices.
A sumptuous feast inspired by the popular West African jollof. These wonderful grains are cooked in a blend of tomatoes, peppers and African spices.
Moin moin – Black Eyed Bean Pudding
A sumptuous black eyed bean pudding, typically steamed and a favourite at our supper club.

Akara is a West African black-eyed bean fritter, much loved in Brazil and everywhere that West Africans have settled. This banana Akara is a sweet twist on this treat.
